Description
The studio proposes the redevelopment and expansion of the rectory building into a medical care facility. The project involves the expansion of the complex, the ground floor will be used for parking and entrance, the first for public functions and common spaces, and the other floors will instead be used for private spaces, such as rooms (about 40). Architectural design consists of a logical-artistic-scientific process capable of identifying forms, organizations, and processes suitable for the creation of dedicated spaces in which man can carry out specific activities such as living, working, relaxing, taking care of himself, etc. To this schematic definition, however, we must add that often the design process, however, it is understood, belongs first and foremost to a creative sphere in which imagination, feeling, needs, and technique merge into a set of graphic-descriptive schemes. The history of architecture is full of examples of how this can happen. Specifically, the architectural project must reflect, interpret, and resolve both artistically and technically every aspect relating to living understood in the broadest sense of the term.
